Our First Week in Kansas

We have officially been here one full week! WHAT A ROLLER COASTER it has been.  After 7 days, I'm not sure if we feel more settled in that we did last Sunday...but we're hopeful about the future here.  Here's a timeline leading up to our move:  It was a time filled with lots of packing, sorting, donating, dump runs, scheduling an end to our Utah utility services and a start to all our Kansas utilities and insurances, and endless documents/paperwork for mortgage. ALSO, getting all the kids application info for OpenEd Kansas (which required proof of residency by July 21...kind of hard when you don't own the house until July 23).  Friday, July 17:  We signed the papers to sell our house in Utah. From there the new owners gave us an extra week to stay there and get all packed up and moved out. It was really weird to live in a house that was "technically" no longer ours. We got funding by the end of the day, and became officially DEBT FREE for about 5 days. No mort...
